01 / SOLAR INVERTERS

Hybrid and off-grid inverter questions

What is the difference between a hybrid and an off-grid solar inverter?

A hybrid inverter coordinates solar, battery and grid power and may support self-consumption and backup. An off-grid inverter supplies loads independently of the utility and normally works with solar, batteries and an optional generator or AC charging source. The correct choice depends on how the site must operate.

How should solar inverter power be selected?

Start with the maximum loads that may run at the same time and the largest motor or compressor starting surge. Then confirm phase, output voltage and frequency, PV input limits, battery platform, generator or grid functions and future expansion.

Can an inverter run air conditioners, pumps or refrigerators?

It can when rated output, short-duration surge capability, battery discharge power and wiring are suitable for those loads. Motor and compressor starting demand should be checked rather than using running power alone.

Can a generator work with the solar inverter?

Many hybrid and off-grid inverter/chargers support an AC generator input, but acceptable voltage and frequency, charging current, control functions and generator quality must match the selected model.

02 / LIFEPO4 BATTERIES

Capacity, runtime and compatibility questions

How is LiFePO4 battery capacity calculated?

Estimate essential-load energy in kilowatt-hours, then divide by the permitted usable depth of discharge and expected system efficiency. Add an appropriate reserve for temperature, ageing, unexpected loads and future expansion.

How long will a 5.12 kWh battery provide backup?

Runtime depends on usable battery energy and the connected load. A 5.12 kWh nameplate does not mean every kilowatt-hour is available to appliances because operating limits, reserve capacity and conversion losses must be considered.

Can several LiFePO4 batteries be connected in parallel?

Many low-voltage battery models support parallel expansion. The maximum quantity, cabling, protection, communication, firmware and commissioning method must follow the instructions for the specific battery and inverter.

How do you check battery and inverter compatibility?

Confirm nominal and operating voltage, continuous and peak current, charge limits, CAN or RS485 communication protocol, supported parallel quantity and the inverter manufacturer's compatibility requirements.

03 / COMPLETE SYSTEMS

System sizing and project questions

What information is needed for a complete solar system quotation?

Provide the destination country, site phase and voltage, load list, daily operating hours, largest starting load, required backup time, grid and generator availability, installation environment, quantity and target schedule.

How many solar panels are required?

Panel quantity depends on module power, daily energy use, local solar resource, shading, available area, expected battery recharge and the inverter's MPPT voltage and current limits. It should not be selected from inverter power alone.

Can one solar system specification be used in every country?

No. Voltage, frequency, phase arrangement, grid conditions, climate, installation practices and local compliance requirements vary. Every export project should be checked for its destination and site.

What changes for hot, humid or dusty installations?

Confirm equipment operating-temperature limits and derating, enclosure rating, ventilation, shading, corrosion exposure and protection from water and direct sunlight. Installation must follow product and local requirements.

04 / COMMERCIAL STORAGE

Commercial and industrial energy storage questions

What is required to size a commercial energy storage system?

Use interval or hourly load data where possible, maximum demand, tariffs, existing solar or generator details, critical loads, backup objectives, site electrical design, available space and project expansion plans.

What inverter power range is available for commercial projects?

SAVYEN supports project-matched 30-125 kW inverter options with the HV76.8V314Ah modular high-voltage battery series. The final inverter and battery configuration depends on the project data.

Can commercial storage provide both backup and peak management?

It may support both objectives when the inverter, battery, controls, switchgear and operating strategy are designed accordingly. Site load data and the permitted grid operating mode must be confirmed.

05 / OEM & EXPORT ORDERS

Procurement and factory-support questions

Does SAVYEN support OEM or private-label orders?

OEM branding and configuration support may be available depending on the product, order quantity, technical requirements and production schedule. Send the target model, quantity, branding scope and destination for confirmation.

What should a distributor include in an RFQ?

Include required product series, power or capacity, estimated quantity, destination market, certification needs, packaging or branding request, target delivery date and any technical compatibility requirements.

Are the website reference configurations final quotations?

No. Website configurations are educational planning references. Final equipment selection, commercial terms and delivery scope require a project-specific quotation and technical confirmation.
