Interactive planning tool

Estimate inverter, battery and solar-panel size.

Turn a real load profile, backup target and local solar resource into a transparent first-pass system estimate. Every formula and assumption remains visible for review.

01 / PROJECT INPUTS

Enter a planning load profile.

Use measured load and local solar data whenever possible. Defaults reproduce the worked example in the SAVYEN sizing guide.

Calculation method

Power, energy and solar yield answer different questions.

The calculator deliberately keeps the three sizing steps separate. This prevents daily energy, inverter power and battery runtime from being treated as the same rating.

Inverter planning power
max(simultaneous load × 1.25, starting event)
Nominal battery energy
backup kW × hours ÷ usable fraction ÷ efficiency
PV-array baseline
daily kWh ÷ peak sun hours ÷ system yield
Panel quantity
ceil(PV watts ÷ selected module watts)
Before ordering

Use the result to start engineering—not finish it.

01 / ELECTRICAL

Verify phase and surge.

Confirm single or three phase, voltage, frequency, motor starting current, surge duration and temperature derating.

02 / BATTERY

Verify current and communication.

Confirm battery voltage, BMS discharge current, CAN/RS485 protocol, firmware, settings, reserve and parallel rules.

03 / SOLAR

Verify every PV string.

Confirm cold-condition voltage, MPPT range, input current, module temperature, shading, orientation and poor-season production.
